The kuker group at Community Center “St.st. Cyril and Methodius” have returned from Montenegro

The kuker group at Community Center “St.st. Cyril and Methodius” were part of the carnival fiesta in Budva, Montenegro. The carnival takes place every year and ushers in the beginning of the tourist season and activities that take place during this period.

This year the event was conducted under the title “The Spring Night Behind the Mask.” The participants numbered over 2,000 present from cities on the coast of the Adriatic Sea and from countries all over Europe.

After the parade, the participants continued with their presentations in the streets of Budva and in the square in the old section of the city, followed by thousands of masked and non-masked people.

Of course, the group’s stay didn’t pass only with its participation in the festival. As part of the Federation of European Carnival Cities, we took part in the cocktail party organized in honor of Henry Van der Croon, founder of the Federation.
